I am a graduate of the University of the Philippines, Diliman Biology Undergraduate Program (2006) and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila College of Medicine (University of the City of Manila, 2010).

I had my medical clerkship training at Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center and medical internship training under the Dept. of Health (DOH) Philippine Centers for Specialized Health Care Program (DOH hospitals). I passed the Philippines' Physician Licensure Examination in 2011 and a member of the Philippine Medical Association.

I finished my Family Medicine residency training at Veterans Memorial Medical Center in 2016 as Chief Resident.

I am a Diplomate and Board Certified Family Physician, a member of Philippine Academy of Physicians in School Health, Inc. (PAPSHI), and Foundation for Family Medicine Educators, Inc. (FAMed).

In the past four years, I am connected with QualiMed Health network.

I am currently holding my medical practice as a medical consultant and Family Medicine coordinator at The Medical City clinics, emergency room (ED) physician, residency training consultant, and visiting consultant at a tertiary hospital in Manila.

The current health crisis and Covid-19 pandemic has affected every industry globally, especially the health sector and the economy. I lost touch with a lot of my patients due to clinic closure, patients' hesitancy to make follow-up visits from lockdowns or inaccessibility to healthcare brought about by retrenchment and job loss.

I daily encounter patients with chronic illnesses who have discontinued their maintenance medications as a result from being lost to follow-up. Coronavirus anxiety and sleep disorders have become common patient complaints as well. Apart from Covid-19, non-communicable diseases are also on the rise and equally deserve our attention.
